Samenvatting:The study analyzed the theoretical guidelines of the Flipped Classroom tool and presented as an objective the proposal of a methodology for its application in a case study. A mixed research is proposed, based on the theoretical review of the works that have contributed to the development of the methodology, the use of analysis-synthesis methods; induction-deduction from which a conceptual map is obtained that summarizes a proposal for its application and a set of characteristics that systematize its advantages and limitations. Subsequently, it is applied to an experimental group and compared with a control group in the fourth grade Natural Science subject at the Guillermo Arosemena Coronel school, Pueblo Viejo, Ecuador. In the experimental group, the acquisition of skills by students stands out, such as: autonomy, ability to learn to learn, creativity, development of teamwork, leadership; as well as better results in the teaching-learning process.
