Programa de mejoramiento en la calidad de atención en el area de terapia respiratoria a pacientes que asisten al hospital Nicolás Cotto infante Los Rios - cantón Vinces primer semestre 2017

The present research Project contemplates a significant and contextualized work on showing strategies to improve the quality of care of patiens who come to treat any type of respiratory problems of the Hospital Nicolas Cotto Infante de Vinces. In order to argue this work, an exhaustive bibliographical research was done on improving the processes that affect patient care. Taking into account the complaints presented by the patients: due to the Little information that is provided about the care process, prolomged waiting time more tan 30 minutes of waiting and Little kindness in the treatment of patients. As a background, the health care policy of the current Government can be mentioned, oriented towards the search for the satisfaction of its basic needs and the reduction of economic, social, cultural and Access, opportunity and quality inequalities in health services. Health, therefore the Quality of Care occupies a priority place in the programs directed to the improvement of the health indicators. The relevance of the study lies in the duty as a health profesional in Respiratory Therapy, to provide recommendations or treatments when appropriate and to inform the patiet about their condition, indicate an adequate indication to patiens about the flow that they should follow when they wait, presentation Of the staff. This allowed to stablish conclusions and recommendations where the result allowed to propose a progrm to improve patient care by the internal user.
