Sažetak:The purpose of this research is to measure the impact of the media in the promotion of gender equity of the students of the Social Communication Career, the same with the purpose of contributing to achieving gender equity, guiding the adequate use of media. the media and from there develop a proposal. Since it can be evidenced that students make repeated use of the media, however there is a low level of knowledge in the application of them, they do not see it as a mere professional growth, but for other purposes, today Nowadays, the right to equality between men and women is not respected, but it should only be dedicated to the home, however it is something that both sexes can perform the same duties and obligations and we deserve to be treated equally. Different methodologies were used that allowed us to base our research such as the inductive method and the deductive method, the technique used was the survey, and the instruments for collecting information were questionnaires, this allowed us to obtain results for our research and provide a solution to the problem. same.
