This research work was carried out in the greenhouse and laboratory of Entomology of the Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias of the Technical University of Babahoyo which is located at km. Babahoyo Track 7 ½ - Montalvo, Province of the Rivers. The objective of this research was to establish the effect on fertility and fertility of Spodoptera frugiperda whose larvae were treated with high doses of insecticides; Establish the fertility in females of Spodoptera frugiperda collected in the area of Babahoyo and to determine the effect of applications Chlorpyrifos and methomyl in larvae of Spodoptera frugiperda on the reproductive capacity of the survivors for the research used S. frugiperda larvae harvested in the leaf of the rice and maize crops, and the insecticides chlorpyrifos and methomyl. In the case of Chlorpyrifos tested doses of 40, 50, 80 and 100 ug per larva .With a dose of 50 ug of chlorpyrifos by larva mortalities were equal to or greater than 80 %. With Methomyl were tested doses of 30, 40 and 80 μg/larva. With a dose of 20 ug/larva was achieved only values greater than 80 % mortality........
