Principales Insectos Plagas en el cultivo de arveja (Pisum sativum L.)” en los predios la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo

The research work was carried out at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo with the objective of obtaining knowledge about the main pests that occur in the pea crop that is sown and produced in this faculty and identify what are the Main insect pests that affect pea cultivation in this agricultural area of the province of Los Ríos, identify which controls are carried out. Among the general methods that were applied to the study, the deductive and inductive methods were used for this investigation, because the hypothesis was raised and verified throughout the development of the research in order to reach the conclusions and recommendations of the work. In the evaluation carried out in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, it was possible to know that the amount of pests that affect the pea crop among which the following were identified: aphids, miners and leaf eaters for which technical measures are carried out to be able to control them by performing all phytosanitary practices from the evaluation in the field by the students together with their teachers to the selection of the insecticides that were used at the time the damage of the insects to the crop was presented. It is important to mention that a program of the types of insecticides that will be used in order to avoid the resistance of insects in the pea crop is carried out
