Both forms of maracuyá are cultivated in Ecuador, but the one that is cultivated with the greatest extent is the yellow one. The effects of phytohormones result in the best yield and longer production time of the crop, reducing losses for the grower and emphasising the benefits of applying auxins and cytokines in the correct way. The primary difficulty for field farmers is that they are associated with the occupation of conventional crops, which is the primary cause of stress and reduced productivity. The research aims to provide information that will be useful to the entire farming community engaged in the production of maracuya to improve low production and ways to prevent it. Phytohormones such as auxins and cytokinins in the cultivation of passion fruit offer the opportunity to improve the production system. These substances have unique characteristics of absorption into plant tissue and mobilized to a reaction site before producing the desired effect. The main objective of this work was to describe the positive effects of auxins and cytokinins in the cultivation of maracuya.

The main objective of this work was to describe the positive effects of auxins and cytokinins in the cultivation of maracuya.En la presente tesina se llevó a cabo la investigación de los Efectos de las Auxinas y Citoquinininas sobre el Desarrollo Productivo en el Cultivo de Maracuya En el Ecuador, de acuerdo al Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria (INIAP, 2014), en el Ecuador, el maracuyá (Passiflora edulis) presenta alrededor de 247,973 toneladas de producción y una productividad promedio de 8.6 toneladas por hectárea. En el Ecuador se cultivan ambas formas de maracuyá, pero, la que se cultiva con más extensión es la amarilla. Mediante los efectos de las fitohormonas se obtiene el mejor rendimiento y un mayor tiempo de producción del cultivo, reduciendo las pérdidas para el productor y recalcando las ventajas de la aplicación de las auxinas y citoquininas de una forma correcta. La primordial dificultad para los agricultores de terreno es que están asociados a ocupar productos convencionales, siendo la primera causa de que los cultivos presenten estrés y disminuyan la productividad. La investigación busco proporcionar información que será útil a toda la comunidad agrícola, que se dedique a la producción de maracuyá para mejorar la baja producción y las formas de prevenirlo. Las fitohormonas como las auxinas y citoquininas en el cultivo de maracuyá ofrecen la oportunidad de mejorar el sistema productivo. Estas sustancias tienen características únicas de absorción en el tejido vegetal y movilizada a un lugar de reacción antes de provocar el efecto deseado.
