Achoimre:International chicken production in recent years has increased significantly and in the year 2020, 133 million tons of poultry meat will be produced; in Ecuador, per capita consumption per person is 28 kg per year. The main objective of this experimental study is to evaluate the effect of three commercial additives (Complex B, Avisol®, and Ganador®) on zootechnical indicators in broilers during the initial stage, in order to determine which, one provides the best cost-benefit ratio. The methodology included the division of 160 birds into four experimental groups, with eight replicates each. Variables such as feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion, and skeletal development (measured by tarsus morphometry) were monitored. Statistical analysis was performed using STATGRAPHICS Centurion XIX software, applying Tukey's multiple range test to identify significant differences between treatments. The results indicated that treatment T3 (Ganador®) showed the best cost-benefit ratio, despite having higher initial costs, this treatment not only improved weight gain and feed efficiency, but also optimized feed conversion, being the most efficient in productive terms. At the end of the experiment, it is concluded that the use of commercial additives such as Ganador® can be a profitable strategy to improve broiler performance, and its implementation is recommended in the initial stage of rearing to maximize the profitability of poultry producers. In addition, further studies are suggested to optimize the doses and combinations of these additives.
