SUMMARY The investigation was carried out in the sector of San José de Chaltura, canton Antonio Ante, province of Imbabura, is located at the following coordinates 0 ° 25'58 '' north latitude and 78 ° 13'34 '' west longitude and a altitude 2,340 meters above sea level. The factors of studies were variety of pea Quantum subjected to the application high, medium and low is zeolite and an absolute witness (without application), were involved were the theoretical methods: inductive-deductive, synthesis analysis and the empirical so-called experimental. The applied design was completely randomized blocks (DBCA), specific treatments plus a control will be included, giving a total of four treatments and four repetitions, giving a total of 16 experimental units. The management of the trial consisted of: soil analysis, application of zeolite soil preparation, delimitation of plots, sowing, irrigation, fertilization, cultural work, pest and disease control and harvest, was evaluated; germination percentages, height of the plant, days to flowering, number of pods per plant, number of grains per pod, yield and the treatments were analyzed economically. Obtained as results; the efficiency of the high application of zeolite, showing greater average in the evaluation of: percentage of germination, height of plant, number of pods per plant, yield of the crop. The economic analysis of the yield in kg of the pea crop in soft grain, according to the fixed and variable costs. Treatment 1 was obtained (Quantum high dose) obtained the highest economic profitability with 7,363.89 USD / ha.
