The present case study aims to improve the promotion of products through online computer tools. The qualitative method was applied, since it will help us to have an idea of how the Babahoyo merchants are handling these tools. Among what can be evidenced in this case study, businesses still have a deficiency in promoting their products online, one of them is that their response level is slow or often they do not answer the customer's request, there is commercial premises that work with their own web portal. If the merchants of the city of Babahoyo want their businesses to be, the businesses of the future must combine the success of physical and digital experience, as consumers feel comfortable using technology to make purchases. It is for this reason that the merchants of the city of Babahoyo must implement and adapt to the changes that were largely caused by Covid-19, the new technologies will provide great competitive advantages to the merchants of the City of Babahoyo.
