description SUMMARY The experimental work was carried out in the swine farm of Mr. Pablo Moreno in the San Joaquin enclosure of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road. Duration of the experimental work was 28 days. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of three doses of phytase on weaned pigs. A completely randomized design "D.C.A" was used with three treatments and eight replicates with eight pigs per treatment and one for each replicate, thus forming eight experimental units with a total of 24 pigs. Testing of the treatments was performed using the Tuckey test (p˂0.05), using the statistical program infoStat version 2012. Three phytase levels were evaluated (T0 = 0g, T1 = 200g, T2 = 400g). The variables studied were: Weekly average weight, weekly food consumption and feed efficiency. In the samples taken of average weekly weight, no statistical difference (p0.05) was found between the means of the treatments. Treatment T1 (200g) 26.89Kg. (0.0g) with weight of 26.19kg and T2 (400g) with weight of 25.57kg. In the parameters of food consumption, the results are obtained, proving that the food consumption variable does show significant differences (p˂0.05). Treatment T2 (400g) obtained weights of 11.54kg (c), being greater than T1 (200g) with 11.44kg (b) and T0 (0,0g) with 10,65kg (a). In the food-efficiency parameters, a statistical difference (p0.05) was recorded, with T2 (400g) with 3.31% (c), superior to treatment T1 (200g) with 2.86% (b), and To the T0 treatment (0.0g) with 2.73% (a).

Periodo de duración del trabajo experimental fue de 28 días. El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el efecto de tres dosis de fitasa en cerdos destetados. Se empleó un diseño completamente al azar “D.C.A” con tres tratamientos y ocho repeticiones con ocho cerdos por tratamiento y uno por cada repetición, formando así ocho unidades experimentales con un total de 24 cerdos. La comprobación de la medida de los tratamientos se la realizó con la prueba de Tuckey (p˂0,05), se utilizó el programa estadístico infoStat versión 2012. Se evaluó tres niveles de fitasa (T0=0g, T1=200g ,T2=400g). Las variables estudiadas fueron: Peso promedio semanal, consumo de alimento semanal y eficiencia alimenticia. En las muestras tomadas de peso promedio semanal no se encontró diferencia estadística (p˃0,05) entre las medias de los tratamientos. El tratamiento T1 (200g) 26,89Kg. registra el mayor valor, siendo superior al T0 (0,0g) con peso de 26,19kg y T2 (400g) con peso de 25,57kg. En los parámetros de consumo de alimento se muestran los resultados obtenidos comprobando que la variable de consumo de alimento sí registra diferencias significativas (p˂0,05). El tratamiento T2(400g) obtuvo pesos de 11,54kg(c), siendo mayor al T1 (200g) con 11,44kg(b) y T0 (0,0g) con 10,65kg (a).
