An inappropriate way of daily living without adequate and sufficient joint movement in the population classified as elderly causes problems and challenges in both the physical and mental health of the individuals in question, thus reducing their quality of life. The dual system that combines aquatic therapy with brain stimulation is proposed as a preventive approach to improve the condition and vitality of this disease. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Dual System proposal which would help in the prevention of a sedentary life in elderly patients belonging to the Quevedo Gerontological Center. The group analyzed will include older members of the Quevedo Gerontological Center, which includes an approximate number of 50 people, with the selection of a non-random sample for ease of access and willingness to collaborate on the part of older adults. |

Una forma inapropiada del diario vivir sin el adecuado y suficiente movimiento articular en la población catalogada como tercera edad ocasiona problemas y desafíos tanto en la salud física como en la mental de los individuos en cuestión disminuyéndoles así la calidad de vida. El sistema dual que combina la terapia acuática con la estimulación cerebral, se propone como un enfoque preventivo para mejorar la condición y la vitalidad de esta enfermedad. El principal objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar la efectividad de la propuesta del Sistema Dual el cual ayudaría en la prevención de una vida sedentaria en pacientes de edad avanzada pertenecientes del Centro Gerontológico de Quevedo.
