The population of pigs faenados monthly is of 240 and per year 2.880, of which was evaluated 351 pigs. To evaluate the data the Percentage Method it was used to determine in percentage from the positive or negative cases to cisticercosis in pigs faenados. To fulfill the present investigation you proceeded to the inspection post-mortem of the pigs faenados in the municipal camal, carrying out the macroscopic exam corresponding to the animals, considering the origin, age and sex. |

Las instalaciones del Camal Municipal se encuentra en la parroquia urbana Camilo Ponce, específicamente en la ciudadela “El Pireo” y cuenta con sala de faenamiento con todas las especificaciones técnicas y en buen estado sanitario. La población de cerdos faenados mensualmente es de 240 y por año 2.880, de la cual se evaluó 351 cerdos. Para evaluar los datos se utilizó el Método Porcentual para determinar en porcentaje de los casos positivos o negativos a cisticercosis en cerdos faenados.
