description The cultivation of rice (Oryza sativa) is one of the main foods in the food basket and as an economic base of many countries, it generally faces multiple bacterial diseases, such as Piricularia, sheath blight and bacterial blight - they greatly affect the production and quality of the product, on the other hand, the high excess of iron in the soil generates serious damage to the development of the plant, due to this the need to look for sustainable solutions for our cultivation. This study investigated the effects caused by Trichoderma, for this purpose ten treatments were applied with various combinations of Trichoderma and Silicon, evaluating factors related to plant growth, production and soil-microbiological analysis. The results indicate that applications of 500 g/ha of Trichoderma + 75 kg/ha silicon gave taller plants, a greater number of tillers and panicles, longer panicles and a greater number of grains; and higher grain yield, with 63% above the farmer control. The applications of Trichoderma in different doses increase the concentration of spores, using 500 g/ha of Trichoderma, 79% more is obtained in relation to the farmer control. In addition, these tend to stabilize nutrients that are toxic in the soil such as Copper, Iron and Manganese, which decreased on average by 45% compared to the control.
