This project aims to offer up-to-date and detailed information to both health students and primary care professionals in the same area, about CAP (community-acquired pneumonia) in children and young people, from its cause to its prevention, by having different aspects to those of an adult. CAP is a typically curable condition and nevertheless it is regularly fatal, especially in infants, '' therefore, it is necessary to maintain the perception of its importance as a public health problem and for this it is necessary to have a clear and updated knowledge its etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and the strategies for its management, treatment and prevention”.
