要約:The research project frames the accounting process and its impact on the profitability of the Piladora Gladicita of Babahoyo canton period 2022, it is dedicated to the purchase and sale of rice, a product considered a priority in the basic family basket, the current economy generates competitiveness among companies so they must have a consolidated financial position with reliable and timely information for sound decision making, In the research process it was observed that the Piladora has inefficient accounting processes, due to the lack of accounting principles, which indicate that they should be recorded on a daily basis, this was verified through the application of methods, techniques and research instruments. An adequate accounting process generates confidence and profitability, reason enough for companies to have competent and truthful financial information, accounting is a fundamental tool when presenting results in business development, management and control depends on its owners or managers, supporting the processes that are carried out. Piladora Gladicita has a weakness in its accounting records that causes that the decisions to be taken are not the most convenient to maintain its profitability. Thus, through the execution of this project, Piladora Gladicita is encouraged to use improvements in the registration, control and presentation of its operations, economic and commercial movements through the implementation and application of an accounting process adapted to the needs to obtain effective financial information.
