Through the statistical tests used, it was determined that there is a strong correlation between the variables raised in the study.Las adaptaciones curriculares son ajustes realizados en el contenido, la metodología o la evaluación de un plan de estudios con el fin de atender las diferencias individuales de los estudiantes, facilitando la participación estudiantil en la educación. Por lo tanto, la investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto de las adaptaciones curriculares en el desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas en el sexto año de educación general básica en la EEB “Jorge Washington”; para lo cual se empleó una metodología conformada con los tipos de investigación descriptiva, mientras que los métodos fueron documental, enfoque mixto e investigación de campo; sustentados a través de la aplicación de encuestas a estudiantes y entrevista a docentes como técnica. Los resultados de la investigación determinaron que los docentes poseen inconvenientes relacionados con el manejo de las habilidades comunicativas; además, no priorizan la implementación de adaptaciones curriculares para influir de manera significativa en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Otro de los hallazgos identificados está relacionado con la planificación docente; debido a que no se ajusta a las necesidades educativas y contexto actual de la educación.
