On the other hand, the descriptive method was applied using the survey technique where it was possible to identify several strong points such as the diversity of natural sites with a high possibility of being used to be adapted in different types of tourism or different activities. weak points such as the need to implement infrastructure because the places are not taken care of and their conservation is deteriorating, making them less and less safe and difficult to restore. Strategies are proposed that range from the use of social networks for advertising, encouragement of public and private entities for the implementation of a sustentable tourism plan; and citizen participation for the promotion of their culture and their city.

Strategies are proposed that range from the use of social networks for advertising, encouragement of public and private entities for the implementation of a sustentable tourism plan; and citizen participation for the promotion of their culture and their city.El trabajo denominado “Plan estratégico de marketing para promover el turismo en el Cantón Ventanas provincia de Los Ríos año 2022” se realiza con el objetivo de desarrollar un plan estratégico de marketing para promover el turismo del lugar, a través de un diagnóstico turístico situacional, en el cual se establece estrategias de marketing para promover el turismo con la finalidad de explotar los recursos turísticos para generar oportunidades y mejorar la calidad socioeconómica de la población. Por otro lado se aplicó el método descriptivo haciendo uso de la técnica de la encuesta donde se logró identificar varios puntos fuertes como son la diversidad de sitios naturales con alta posibilidad de aprovechamiento para ser adaptados en distintos tipos de turismo o diferentes actividades, también se identificaron puntos débiles como la necesidad de implementar infraestructura debido a que los lugares no son atendidos y su conservación va en deterioro, haciéndolos cada vez menos seguros y difíciles de restaurar.
