| Samenvatting: | The objective of this case study is to analyze the technologies needed to implement data management systems that comply with the requirements of the Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) at the Technical University of Babahoyo. The research addresses legal, technical and operational aspects, with a focus on scalability, interoperability and security. Through tools such as interviews, questionnaires, checklists and document analysis, key regulatory and technological requirements were identified. The results made it possible to evaluate alternatives available in the market and design a technological proposal that guarantees legal compliance, operational efficiency and economic sustainability, ensuring effective integration with existing systems. This study provides a practical guide for educational institutions seeking to modernize their data management systems under a strict regulatory framework. |
