| Summary: | SUMARY The present research work was carried out in the El Rosal Community, La Concepción Parish, Mira Canton, Carchi Province, a community that is in turn agricultural. Research was carried out in this sector since at the moment they are cultivating large quantities of lemon which is being affected primarily by the plague Worm reel of the leaf; to fulfill the research, the objectives were stated; Perform the characterization on the presence and attack of the furling worm in the cultivation of lemon in the research area. Determine monitoring techniques to identify the pest and the damage it causes in the cultivation of lemon. Determine the different control systems for the furling guano. In order to respond to these stated objectives, a bibliographic research was carried out, as well as information from technicians, and in addition to this, interviews were carried out with producers in the area, since they are the ones who have the live knowledge because they are the ones in the affected area; Once all the information was obtained, the analysis was carried out and together said information could be determined that there are many factors that help the pest to develop and spread easily causing damage to crops in the area such as favorable climate, hosts, we proceed to arrive at the end of the job. The importance of this research was considerable since it was possible to obtain greater knowledge about the pest in its entirety the damage it causes, as it affects the plantation in turn to the producer itself and especially to know how to control it and reduce or eliminate its damages. |
