SUMMARY The present work of research on "Positive effects of chemical and organic elicitors in the control of downy mildew (Peronóspora sp) in the cultivation of pea (Pisum sativum L.) variety Quantun" is based on a solid referential frame since there is a lot of information which supports the same, starting with the documentary research which was carried out using recent and highly relevant sources to be clear about the concepts and use the terminology correctly. It is based on a field work carried out jointly with the farmers, which gives strength to the information collected since it is as real as possible within the conditions in which the farmers develop daily, the empirical knowledge about certain techniques they carry out for control pests and diseases, are of vital importance because in conjunction with the technique they become a powerful tool to grow the products better. The benefits obtained by including eliciting products in the implementation of crops and by using them from the early stages of the plants are quantitatively and qualitatively identified, because the self-defense system integrated naturally in the plants is activated in a natural way and with this avoid getting sick continuously or be attacked by pests typical of each crop, in the case of the pea variety Quantum was able to show some positive effects on its physiological structure, as in its resistance to the problems that commonly attack it, the quality The work presented will serve as a point of support to achieve a change in the mindset of the farmers and will lead to more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices, while at the same time contributing to the socio-economic development of the community of Cumbaltar where I do the research.
