description VIII. SUMMARY The present research work was carried out on the grounds of the Experimental Farm "Palmar" of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at Km 12 of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road. The area has a humid tropical climate; With a height of 8 m.s.n.m., located between the geographical coordinates 79º 32' of western longitude and 1º 49' of south latitude, having an average annual precipitation of 1845 mm, with temperature of 24,32 ºC annual average. As seed material, the rice varieties INIAP-14, INIAP 15 and FSL-09 were used. The experimental design was divided into three treatments (rice varieties INIAP 14, INIAP 15 and FSL 09), five sub - treatments (Algadul + N - P - K, Stimplex + N - P - K, Algadul, Stimplex and Conventional Witness N-P-K with several doses) and three replicates. For the evaluation and comparison of means of the treatments, the Tukey test was used at 95% probability. For the execution of the test, all practices and agricultural tasks that the crop required for its normal development, such as soil analysis, soil preparation, planting, weed control, phytosanitary control, fertilization whose N-P doses -K mentioned were established based on soil, irrigation and harvest analysis. To accurately estimate the effects of treatments, the data were taken from days to flowering and physiological maturation of grain, height from plant to crop, panicle length, number of tillers and panicles per square meter, number of grains per panicle, Grain - straw ratio, thousand grain weight, yield per hectare and economic analysis. From the above results, it was determined that the SFL 09 strain using Algadul + N-P-K flowered precociously; While the variety INIAP 14 using Algadul and Stimplex maturated in higher time; The highest plant height was recorded in the SFL 09 variety by applying Stimplex + N-P-K and the interaction of INIAP 15 with Stimplex showed a longer panicle length; The highest number of tillers / m2 was reported by the SFL 09 variety using Stimplex and in terms of panicles / m2 the sowing of the INIAP 14 variety was excelled with the use of Algadul + NPK: The use of variety SFL 09 with the use of Stimplex + NPK showed greater number of grains / panicle; While the highest grain - straw ratio was obtained with SFL 09 by applying Stimplex + N - P - K. RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en los terrenos de la Granja Experimental “Palmar” de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, ubicada en Km. 12 de la vía Babahoyo-Montalvo. La zona presenta un clima tropical húmedo; con una altura de 8 m.s.n.m., ubicada entre las coordenadas geográficas 79º 32´ de longitud occidental y 1º 49´ de latitud sur, teniendo una precipitación promedio anual de 1845 mm, con temperatura de 24,32 ºC promedio anual. Como material de siembra se utilizaron las variedades de arroz INIAP 14, INIAP 15 y SFL-09. El diseño experimental utilizado fue Parcelas Divididas, con tres tratamientos (variedades de arroz INIAP 14, INIAP 15 y SFL 09), cinco subtratamientos (Algadul + N - P – K, Stimplex + N - P – K, Algadul, Stimplex y Testigo Convencional N - P – K) y tres repeticiones. Para la evaluación y comparación de medias de los tratamientos, se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 95 % de probabilidad. Para la ejecución del ensayo se llevaron a cabo todas las prácticas y labores agrícolas que el cultivo requirió para su normal desarrollo, tales como análisis de suelo, preparación de terreno, siembra, control de malezas, control fitosanitario, fertilización cuyas dosis de N–P–K mencionadas se establecieron en base al análisis de suelo, riego y cosecha. Para estimar en forma correcta los efectos de los tratamientos se tomaron los datos de días a la floración y maduración fisiológica de grano, altura de planta a cosecha, longitud de panícula, número de macollos y panículas por metro cuadrado, número de granos por panícula, relación grano – paja, peso de mil granos, rendimiento por hectárea y análisis económico. Por los resultados planteados anteriormente, se determinó que la variedad SFL 09 utilizando Algadul + N-P-K floreció precozmente; mientras que la variedad INIAP 14 empleando Algadul y Stimplex maduraron en mayor tiempo; la mayor altura de planta se registró en la variedad SFL 09 aplicando Stimplex + N-P-K y la interacción de INIAP 15 con Stimplex presentó mayor longitud de panícula. El mayor número de macollos/m2 lo reportó la variedad SFL 09 utilizando Stimplex y en cuanto a las panículas/m2 sobresalió la siembra de la variedad INIAP 14 con el uso de Algadul + N-P-K. La utilización de variedad SFL 09 con el uso de Stimplex + N-P-K mostró mayor número de granos/panícula; mientras que la mayor relación de grano – paja se obtuvo con la variedad SFL 09 aplicando Stimplex + N-P-K.
