الملخص:Bronchial asthma is considered as the chronic, non-transmissible, most common lung disease that affects people of all ages and between 5 and 10% of the child population; It can be severe and sometimes fatal. It is an important global health problem. The identification and control of risk factors constitute an important pillar in the management of this entity. The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of extrinsic allergens in bronchial asthma in children from 2 to 8 years of age in the Crispin Cerezo precinct of the Pimocha parish, Babahoyo canton, Lo Ríos province, the same one that was developed under the non-experimental modality with a direct-descriptive-explanatory type of observation, taking as a study population 81 children with bronchial asthma affliction who suffer from this ailment, which were represented by their relatives in the data collection made with the questionnaire instrument with pre-prepared questions, whose result was that allergens are direct incidents of childhood bronchial asthma, reaching the conclusion that in this sector the knowledge of signs and symptoms are very rudimentary, as well as there are hereditary traits, ignorance in the practices of respiratory therapy in the home, for the management of the enfe rmedad and inadequate use of drugs such as bronchodilators, among others.
