In the past, little information flowed, it was easier to recognize the information that you wanted to hide from others.El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo determinar las causas y consecuencias de la censura periodista a través de encuestas virtuales, para este trabajo investigativo se hizo uso del método deductivo, el cual permitió que a través de las preguntas pueda obtener información necesaria para realizar comparaciones e indagar, se utilizó la metodología cuantitativa a través de encuestas virtuales que tenían como objetivo obtener porcentajes, para cumplir con el método cualitativo se utilizó como herramienta las encuestas mediante redes sociales, a través de la cual se recogió información de suma relevancia, donde se pudo obtener diferentes opiniones de cada persona, ya que cada persona ve el mundo de diferente manera, y es muy importante que ellos manifiesten sus acuerdos y desacuerdos, En conclusión, al realizar las encuestas pude determinar que son muchas las personas que actualmente no tienen conocimiento, no se informan, y no usan como tema de conversación la terminología censura, la desinformación en los medios de comunicación no es un invento o concepción de quienes quieren o desean dedicarse al periodismo.
