IP telephony is an internet service that is responsible for providing voice transmission over technological infrastructures; allowing to reduce costs that is generated if a public telephone network (PSTN) is used. The following case study analyzes the integrity of the data using QoS when traveling through the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government network of Canton Montalvo, when telephone calls are made on IP services; through the use of mobile or digital phones. Free software such as Linux Centos, Asterisk and Zoiper were used to provide higher performance, high availability and data stability; also will be used mikrotik routers that will allow to make calls in networks LAN and WAN. By using this technology you will get great benefits with respect to the quality of services due to the priority that is set, so that will increase the speed and availability in the network. |

La telefonía IP es un servicio de internet que se encarga de proporcionar la transmisión de voz sobre infraestructuras tecnológicas; permitiendo reducir gastos que se genera si se utiliza una red de telefonía pública (PSTN). El siguiente caso de estudio analiza asegurar la integridad de los datos empleando QoS al viajar por la red del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Montalvo, cuando se efectúan llamadas telefónicas sobre servicios IP; mediante la utilización de teléfonos móviles o digitales. Para ello se empleó software libre como Linux Centos, Asterisk y Zoiper que ofrecen mayor rendimiento, alta disponibilidad y estabilidad de los datos; también se utilizará routers mikrotik que permitirá realizar llamadas en redes LAN y WAN. Al utilizar esta tecnología se obtendrá grandes beneficios con respecto a la calidad de servicios debido a la prioridad que se establezca, de modo que se incrementará la velocidad y disponibilidad en la red.Babahoyo: UTBIng.
