Περίληψη:Background: Normal nutritional status is related to healthy eating habits that allow you to maintain and prevent relationships such as cardiovascular and metabolic problems, among other things. Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional status and eating habits in schoolchildren of the Francisco Huerta Rendón Educational Unit during the period November 2024 - May 2025. Material and method: Quali-quantitative correlational approach, 60 schoolchildren from the educational institution participated. Nutritional status was measured through anthropometric measurements appropriate to the age of the schoolchildren. They were evaluated through a questionnaire of questions prepared by the authors that will allow us to obtain data related to the objectives in order to give them answers to what was proposed. To carry out this research, bibliographies were consulted on the topics involved in the project, for which the Google academic platform, Google school, was used, taking references to scientific articles and pdf documents, duly cited and with relevant information for the research. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is concluded that there is a relationship between nutritional status and eating habits in school-aged children, taking into account food policies and food culture. Malnutrition rates decrease when there is no knowledge about nutrition, proper food choices, and proper cooking.
