| Résumé: | In Ecuador as in all countries of the world there are legal regulations and statutes in which all members of a nation are required to contribute in contributory capacity in relation to labor obligations, to an agreement by which a natural person is obliged to provide a service personal to another natural or legal person, under his continued subordination and through remuneration. This research document is focused on labor obligations, through which information was obtained in different statutes, legal regulations, different sources of information and knowledge necessary to carry out the following investigation. The methodology to be used is of a descriptive type since it is the one that allows analyzing each of the facts that they incur within an entity, for this reason the interview was conducted to the owner of the hardware store, where it was detected that; there are problems in the fulfillment of labor obligations. The employer has the obligation, the commitment and without need of a claim, the proper registration of his worker or collaborator as a member of the Obligatory General Insurance from the first day of work, and to send to the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute the incoming communication within the first fifteen (15) business days. The violation of this commitment will be sanctioned in accordance with the General Rules of Employer Responsibility.
