Voeg label toe | Samenvatting: | Acute respiratory infections are the most frequent causes of morbidity and mortality throughout the world, particularly in developing countries. The objective of the research is to determine the risk factors that influence lower respiratory infections in infants treated at the Liborio Panchana Sotomayor hospital in the city of Santa Elena in the period June - October 2023. The methodological design used is quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional. To collect data, surveys were applied to parents or caregivers and 50 cases of lower or low HAIs were obtained. The information was processed in a Microsoft Excel program, obtaining the largest number of patients with SARI cases from this research study concentrated from 1 month to 2 years of age, both in men and women. The main preventable and non-preventable risk factors that influenced SARIs in infants admitted to the pediatric department of the Liborio Panchana hospital were identified. |
