Efectos de la reducción presupuestaria en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial Rural La Esmeralda en el periodo 2021 en comparación al periodo 2020.

The present research work dealt with the budget for the years 2020 and 2021 in the Autonomous Decentralized Rural Parish Government of La Esmeralda founded on January 13, 2012 belonging to the Province of Los Ríos, Montalvo canton, with the objective of determining the effects of the budget reduction that the entity received in one period compared to the other. For the development of the present theme, the inductive - deductive methodologies were applied through the study of bibliographic information for the elaboration of the conclusions, in addition, the application of the descriptive method was used through the horizontal analysis of the quantitative and qualitative information provided by the entity. collected through the use of the interview as a method of collecting information. Carrying out the case study made it possible to determine the effects of the decrease in the entity's budget in relation to the performance of its activities. The entity in 2021, as a result of the 12.01% reduction in its income by the central government of the Ecuadorian state compared to the 2020 period, had a great negative impact with regard to the execution of programs linked to public works, goods and investment services in the year that suffered the reduction in its budget.
