In the daily life, physical or chemical and biological agents exist in one way or another, contaminating the energy and fishing resources, although the mining resources, soils, waters and forests are just as lucky. Tourism is currently one of the most important branches of the service sector and one of the fastest growing worldwide, causing negative impacts of massive phenomenon and activity that requires a large infrastructure and complex services that have not always had adequate planning. become a constant deterioration of the natural and social environment. Not only has it transformed the physical aspect of the tourist areas, but it has generated serious ecological upheavals: destruction of the ecosystem, decrease of the quantity and quality of the water, impoverishment and contamination of the soils, extension of multiple species of fauna, with a severe affectation of flora, fishing depredation and pollution of the sea, as well as disintegration of economic, traditional activities, migration, acculturation, population growth phenomena. The present case study aims to raise awareness of the problem of environmental pollution. Within the investigation that when visiting the Canton Windows was observed solid waste, which is causing effects such as destruction of the zone layer, unexpected climatic changes, diseases said effect are deteriorating every day more the quality of life of the human beings. The extinction of fauna and flora is why good solid waste management is necessary. It is necessary to conduct a thorough investigation to discover the pollution problems that exist in that place. A solid waste awareness campaign for the population in general will be structured in conjunction with the GAD of the Ventanas Canton and the Department of Environmental Management and Hygiene, to achieve and enjoy the tourist, cultural and natural attractions, without alterations of the ecosystems.
