Capacidad hotelera y la afluencia de turistas en la zona urbana del cantón Vinces en el año 2022

Tourism as a commercial activity is of great importance for each site where it is developed, which is why for a long time it has been intended to give it the necessary interest that allows its economic growth, benefiting providers of tourist services directly and indirectly, such as merchants who contribute to providing a quality service. This research work aims to evaluate the influx of tourists in the Vinces canton, province of Los Ríos, determining the behavior of arrivals and overnight stays in the urban area. In order to reach the expected results, it was decided to specify the hotel capacity of the lodging establishments in order to define their occupational rate. Similarly, a problem was raised, specifying the difficulty caused by the low availability of rooms that provide the necessary comfort to tourists, especially in high season and the effects that this situation causes for merchants in the canton. Following the investigation, the theoretical framework is designed, which provides the theoretical foundation and concepts of each terminology for the development of this project. Finally, we have the analysis of the field research, we use the survey technique aimed at the managers of the hotel establishments who provide specific and relevant data that allow us to support the importance of this study.
