Compost is a solid organic fertilizer that is obtained from the decomposition of different organic materials found in the field such as remains of animals dedicated to livestock production, harvest remains and food waste, all this process is carried out the different microorganisms found in the mate...

In Ecuador, a large number of families have the habit of classifying their waste, composting is based on processes developed spontaneously from the biological cycles of microorganisms, within these processes, the most important factor is the aeration of decomposing organic matter. two methods by which compost can be made; Indore, Pain and Pfeiffer above ground level and below ground level we have mass graves. For the execution of this work, information was compiled concerning the methodologies used for the elaboration of compost in Ecuador, in order to identify those processes of composting and use of organic waste that are produced from the predominant agricultural work of area. The conclusions of this work determined that there is a lack of methodologies for the production of compost by zoning in the country, thus preventing its development by people or farmers in a predominant area.

The conclusions of this work determined that there is a lack of methodologies for the production of compost by zoning in the country, thus preventing its development by people or farmers in a predominant area.
