The company "Store Phone" is located in the city of Babahoyo, with a history of 5 years whose commercial activity is based on the sales of cell phones, accessories and providing technical services. This case study is carried out in order to know the problems concerning inventory management that the company presents Among the main problems that occurs in the company is the inadequate inventory management, because the company does it manually and does not know exactly what products are available and those that are not, another shortcoming is the lack of rotation of inventory since there is too much merchandise in stock which in the future can cause losses for the company, another problem is that the company does not have an electronic invoicing system that allows it to know how many products are sold per day and which are still available for sale. Inadequate staff also brings certain problems for the company because they do not perform the functions that are designated correctly because they do not know how to perform their work, in addition there is a high rate of employee turnover and this occurs because they do not They are offered incentives to do a good job, in the same way, the company has lost customers due to the fact that they are not given adequate attention so that they feel satisfied with the service they are offered. The business needs to have effective inventory management in order for the business to function in the best possible way.
