Shrnutí: | The family, being the fundamental axis of society, is where each human being develops and establishes emotional ties between the members that make it up. It is also the medium where respect, love, loyalty, security and protection are projected and the first scenario where Boys and girls learn who they are, their culture and customs, as well as developing their personality and providing them with emotional support. In this sense, this would be an ideal family functioning, but it should be mentioned that the presence of one of its members with some type of disability would cause differences in terms of the characterization of family functioning since physical disability is that situation or state in which it occurs. a circumstance that prevents or greatly hinders the person who suffers from it from being able to move freely and in a way in which they have full functionality. In this case, the function of the family is intensified when there are certain inconveniences such as disability, Support as a family is not only based on covering expenses, food, but the ability that you have as a family union to transmit that to the person affected, the changes that are manifested are extensive. The present case study is carried out to identify the characterization of the family functioning of a 12-year-old adolescent with physical disabilities, and for this a descriptive research was implemented with a mixed approach, that is, qualitative and quantitative, which allowed the collection of information through techniques and tools such as: initial interview, clinical history, direct observation, Beck Depression Inventory, and the Family Functioning Questionnaire (Ff-Sil) which enabled obtaining a mild depressive episode. As a presumptive diagnosis, therefore, the environment or shelter of the family system is essential so that the patient can confront his situation and not trigger depressive pathologies with higher categories. |
