This research was aimed at studying the application of three post-emergent herbicides and three doses performance chia (Salvia hispanica L), located in the area of Old Town, Canton Look, Carchi province; located at the geographic coordinates: latitude north 00 ° 33'0,79 "; west longitude 78 ° 2'27,39 ", at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level, this work is developed in order to determine what type and dose of herbicide is the most suitable in weed control and crop yield and chia and economically analyze the treatments. ten treatments by a combination of three herbicides and application of three doses plus a control was investigated using an experimental design, randomized complete (DBCA) blocks with a factorial arrangement A x B + 1, with 10 treatments and 3 replications , giving a total of 30 experimental units. The total area of the experiment was 816.00 m2, 9,60 m2 experimental plots. the efficiency with herbicides and doses on weed control and crop yield chia percentage of germination, plant height, stem diameter, number of flowers, seed weight, yield and economic analysis of the treatments was assessed , checking treatment means test was performed by Duncan's multiple range 5% probability. The results determined that the cultivation of chia variety Tzotsol, responded favorably to the applications of the Punisher and centurion herbicides in plant height and seed yield and doses of 250 and 500 cc, responded significantly germination percentage, height plant, stem diameter, number of flowers, seed weight and performance, the best combination was with the Punisher herbicide and a dose of 250 cc that reached the best performance with 1300,00 kg / ha, and economic utility of 8328,00 USD / ha. In conclusion, the investigation cleared doubts chia performance with herbicide application and proper dosage removing weeds from growing, improving quality and net profit to the farmer. |
