Analizar cómo afecta la perdida de la identidad cultural en el desarrollo turístico del cantón Baba, Provincia de Los Ríos

The present case study raises and analyzes the cultural identity and its contribution to the tourism development of the Baba Canton Province of Los Ríos, with the purpose of promoting tourism in this place through the rescue and rehabilitation of their customs and traditions; because through this research work we try to recover the cultural identity of the Canton. Through the exploratory investigation, a direct observation of the different points of the Canton was carried out, which allowed data and information to be collected to achieve the objective of the case study. In addition, an information collection plan was used in order to facilitate the compilation of essential data, through the survey applied to the inhabitants, obtaining as a result that the Canton is a place with a rich history full of relevant events. It is important to mention that it is important to preserve their customs, traditions and values. Since the inhabitants would become aware of the importance of preserving their identity in order to spread it through tourism. That is why the development of an activity plan together with the Cantonal GAD has been taken into consideration, so that the town improves its quality of life through tourism development.
