The clinical work focused on the suffering of the corticosteroid nephrotic syndrome in an 8-year-old pediatric patient, by means of the nursing assistance which started with the respective reason for consultation, physical assessment and among the results of the assessment; The nursing care processes are formulated and developed as a result of establishing the altered functional patterns that allow the elaboration of a care plan according to the patient's requirements, follow-up; from the applied treatment as well as the type of diet to be used. Among which is taken into account the awareness and safety of the nursing staff. For the application of said treatment; In addition, educational talks were held with parents on the problems caused by the suffering of the nephrotic syndrome in the pediatric patient. |

Los signos y síntomas más característicos de esta patología es la presencia de edema, orina espumosa debido a la presencia de proteínas, astenia, la disminución de la albumina sérica y altas concentraciones de grasa en la sangre. El trabajo clínico se enfocó sobre el padecimiento del síndrome nefrótico corticoresistente en un paciente pediátrico de 8 años de edad, que por medio de la asistencia de enfermería la misma; que se inició desde el motivo de consulta, valoración física y entre los resultados de la valoración; se procedió a la formulación y desarrollo de los procesos de atención de enfermería a raíz de establecer los patrones funcionales alterados que permitan elaborar un plan de cuidados de acuerdo a los requerimientos del paciente, dar el seguimiento; desde el tratamiento aplicado así mismo como el tipo de dieta que debe emplearse. Entre los cuales se toma en consideración la conciencia y seguridad por parte del personal de enfermería.
