Ամփոփում:The present case study is carried out based on the medical history of a 23-year-old male patient due to a head trauma with a picture of respiratory distress, in addition to presenting dyspnea, tachypnea, tachycardia, arterial hypotension, oxygen desaturation, use of of intercostal musculature, drowsy, an evaluation of his state of consciousness is carried out, which does not respond to various stimuli performed, yielding a score of 7/15 on the Glasgow scale, in the physical examination performed on the patient at the level of the skull he presents bruises , in the oral cavity with the presence of blood and the lips with bleeding, at the chest level, pulmonary auscultation is performed where he presents vesicular murmur, at the cardiac level he does not refer murmurs, he refers to an increase in HR, in the upper extremities he presents lacerations, hematomas and wounds in the hands, product of the automobile accident, in the left arm there is a peripheral venous route, in the e Lower extremities show lacerations, bruises, and minor wounds. Cranioencephalic trauma is important in the clinic of health professionals, it is closely related to traffic accidents, within a study carried out it was determined that in the individuals who suffer the most from these traumas are adolescents and adults. In conclusion, based on the analysis of the case study, the techniques of the respiratory therapy professional were applied, which was beneficial in the symptomatological and clinical picture of the patient. Also, it was possible to establish effective treatment for respiratory distress such as invasive ventilatory support, which was effective in this treatment, after recovery, improvement of the patient's lifestyle and health.
