Sumari: | VIII SUMMARY. The research was conducted with the purpose of studying the application of three seaweed and two doses in the performance of spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.), such research is conducted in the agricultural area of San Gabriel, Carchi province, located in the geographical coordinates 00 ° 32' 16'' north latitude and 77 ° 52' 02'', west longitude at an altitude of 2,952 meters above sea level, with the aim of obtaining data results algae applications with high and medium doses , looking for the most appropriate treatment for better economic performance. The research was made in seven treatments by combining three applications of algae and two doses and a witness, using an experimental design Design Randomized Complete (DBCA) blocks with a factorial arrangement A x B + 1, with 7 treatments and 3 repetitions, giving a total of 21 experimental units in a total area of 377 m2, with experimental plots of 9.00 m2 and a total net area of 4.00 m2. efficiency with algae and dose plant height, blade diameter, blade length, weight kilograms of commercial sheets and an economic analysis of each of the treatments, checking treatment means was determined was by the multiple range test of Duncan at 5% probability. The results presented in spinach crop responded favorably to the application of algae and dose generating the highest percentage in plant height, diameter of leaf blade length, weight kilograms of commercial sheets and an economic analysis, which obtained the best net profit, compared to the control without application. That investigation cleared doubts concerning the application of algae commercial products and the dosage that best performance, quality and gender net profit to the farmer, concluding that the cultivation without application does not generate any statistically compared to treatments witnessed these products. |
