It is a disease that is on the rise since every day the number of people who smoke increases, this being the most influential factor in this disease. This is a disease that develops over the years, generally in smokers, although there have been cases of people who have not smoked and have suffered from this disease. This case study is based on a 55-year-old female patient who suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, who presents a clinical picture of medium effort dyspnea + cough + asthenia, which is why she attends a health home. During the nutritional assessment it was found that his BMI is within normal parameters. The objective of this clinical case is to carry out a nutritional care process in a 55-year-old female patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which is carried out based on a 1645 Kcal diet.
