This case study represents an analysis of the importance of virtualization in companies and the evolution of current technological infrastructures and how these drive a significant transformation in the management of computing resources, since they not only improve and take advantage of the use of hardware , but also offers unprecedented operational flexibility, allowing organizations to quickly adapt to the ever-changing business environment. Theoretical bases have been consulted in this work that have allowed the study of the evolution of servers and their impulse based on the need for greater processing power, energy efficiency and flexibility, as well as the way in which these virtualization technologies have revolutionized the use of servers, allowing multiple virtual servers to operate on a single physical hardware, improving resource utilization and operational flexibility. In this practical document for titration, a methodological study based on qualitative techniques has been adopted since they allow a more complete or extended understanding and is more closely linked to the analysis of the problem, related to virtualization infrastructures; This qualitative method provides a deep and detailed context, where an objective evaluation will be allowed and the impact and its results can be measured. Experts were interviewed for the development of this document who agreed that operational efficiency is one of the most outstanding benefits of virtualization, the efficiency of this technology allows a positive reflection on the effective centralized management of IT and the reduction of costs that They are beneficial for companies.
