Summary:Phonological awareness is defined as the ability to learn written language, denoting that children who have difficulties in solving activities that require this ability will always obtain lower results than those who do not have these difficulties. This awareness develops in the period of the child from 3 to 8 years old, although it has not been determined how its development occurs at the exact moments that it occurs in learning to read, reading allows learning new knowledge through the interpretation of this information, in addition to being able to express through writing, the thoughts or ideas that are generated, a clear example, in master classes a lot of information is obtained that is impossible to memorize at the moment, but if annotations of the main ideas are made, this facilitates learning . For this reason, the following research topic "Phonological awareness and its influence on the development of learning in reading in children of initial education of the Francisco Huerta Rendon Educational Unit" was raised, which aims, at the time of preparing the study of This case was carried out based on the quantitative approach, using descriptive and analytical methods, with a non-experimental design, using information collection techniques such as convenience sampling, observation, documentary research, a survey which would be applied to 90 parents who represent the sample of a population of 163 people, obtaining information on the current situation of the problem that can be observed in the discussion of the results and thanks to that it is possible to conclude with the fulfillment of the objectives and the elaboration of the recommendations.
