Summary:This clinical case is about a 24 year old gynecological patient who is referred from the Vinchoa Health Center in the canton Guaranda for presenting discomfort when urinating and absence of fetal movements, with the complementary examinations the doctor on duty proceeds to admit the patient to the Gynecology area of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital for presenting positive + proteinuria, laboratory tests showed a urinary tract infection, and blood tests showed a hemoglobin of 9. 2, so she was admitted for treatment, the breast score performed to the patient gave a score of 5 since she had a heart rate of 115, blood pressure of 90/50 and positive proteinuria, so the breast score is taken every hour since her admission, complementary tests were performed including a rapid test for SARS COVID, she had no headache, only referred pain in the abdomen, burning when urinating and fatigue. She has a maternal family history of recurrent urinary tract infections of long standing, so the patient remained in absolute rest, she was administered the medication prescribed by the doctor, she was given recommendations on her daily personal hygiene, the correct way she should eat at home and how to identify danger signs that may occur during her last weeks of gestation.
