The research method to be used in this work is the inductive and investigative method that will allow interviews to be carried out with the people who work in the institution and obtain physical and digital documentation, which evidences what is really happening in the entity and thus have a better perspective of why you have an overdue portfolio. After having carefully reviewed, I concluded that the taxpayers of the Montalvo canton do not make their respective payments for municipal licenses, urban properties, rustic properties and other items for water, sewage and garbage. |

La cartera vencida representa un problema para las entidades del sector público como para el sector privado y son obligaciones que tienen las personas con una entidad y no se efectuaron dentro del plazos establecidos y se convierten en un problema ya que son valores que no se han podido recuperar. El método de investigación a utilizar en el presente trabajo es el método inductivo e investigativo que permitirán hacer entrevistas a las personas que laboran en la institución y obtener documentación física y digital, que evidencie lo que realmente está pasando en la entidad y así tener una mejor perspectiva del porque se tiene una cartera vencida.
