Summary:Cultural gastronomy is also a discipline that analyzes the correlation of the human being with his livelihood, the natural environment from which he obtains food resources and the way he manages them, as well as the social and cultural aspects that intercede in the relationship that each community institutes with its gastronomy. The present research work is based on a cultural gastronomic proposal for the tourist growth of the Mocache canton, with emphasis on the rescue and propagation of its typical cuisine since, due to being a small sector, there is ignorance of the habits referred to, by reason that there is no appropriate publicity to promote internal tourism, so that it is made known in other locations. Therefore, it is essential that a cultural gastronomic offer of the original preparations of the town be established, with past customs that are maintained from generation to generation, that is why with the elaboration of the proposal called Tourist Offer for the promotion of gastronomic Cultural and tourism growth in the Mocache canton is intended to contribute to the economic development of the place. In addition, through this research work it is intended to promote the rescue of the gastronomic culture of the Mocache canton, surrounding and rural sectors, to contribute to the tourism development of gastronomy that helps boost the growth of the referred area.
