Sumari:Tourism is one of the main economic activities in the world, known since ancient times and exploited better in today's world through stylized techniques that generate an important economic contribution to the society where it develops. Tourism also has several aspects of utmost importance for the locality where it performs, among which are national and foreign investment, direct and indirect jobs for the residents of the town, as well as contributing to the social, cultural and economic growth of the country in the process of development, favoring the influx of tourists through the realization of activities that meet the demand for them as accommodation, food, transportation and entertainment. Cultural growth occurs through activities that highlight the traditions, customs and attractions of the local culture, thus making known the richness with which it is counted naturally. The regional and national infrastructure is improved with national and foreign investment, which drives growth in terms of air, land or sea communication, resulting in a large amount of foreign currency for the country through this activity, generating This is a job for the residents of the different locations where the tourism activity takes place, since adequate services must be implemented that require the assistance of specialized personnel to assist tourists. Tourism has established itself as a new tourist offer for today's society, since global demand has had a significant growth in recent years, the interest of people to make tourism is encouraged by a correct tourism promotion made with bases and solid foundations, who make attractive places that have been structured for the comfort of tourists. Therefore, a tourist promotion plan is implemented, with which it is possible to achieve the visit of destinations with monuments, shows, museums, works of art and traditions of local communities, for which tourism services generate a great amount of economic possibilities to the city. The objective of the research is to design a tourism promotion plan that will strengthen the tourist services of hotels in the city of Babahoyo, through tools that will improve competitiveness in the tourist market of the Province of Los Ríos. The tourist promotion will start from the analysis made and registered through informative cards of the natural and cultural tourist attractions of the city, for its later diffusion in the information points that are located inside the hotels of Babahoyo, allowing the tourist to know and be encouraged to visit attractive places.
