Tourism also has several aspects of utmost importance for the locality where it performs, among which are national and foreign investment, direct and indirect jobs for the residents of the town, as well as contributing to the social, cultural and economic growth of the country in the process of development, favoring the influx of tourists through the realization of activities that meet the demand for them as accommodation, food, transportation and entertainment. Cultural growth occurs through activities that highlight the traditions, customs and attractions of the local culture, thus making known the richness with which it is counted naturally. The regional and national infrastructure is improved with national and foreign investment, which drives growth in terms of air, land or sea communication, resulting in a large amount of foreign currency for the country through this activity, generating This is a job for the residents of the different locations where the tourism activity takes place, since adequate services must be implemented that require the assistance of specialized personnel to assist tourists. Tourism has established itself as a new tourist offer for today's society, since global demand has had a significant growth in recent years, the interest of people to make tourism is encouraged by a correct tourism promotion made with bases and solid foundations, who make attractive places that have been structured for the comfort of tourists. Therefore, a tourist promotion plan is implemented, with which it is possible to achieve the visit of destinations with monuments, shows, museums, works of art and traditions of local communities, for which tourism services generate a great amount of economic possibilities to the city. The objective of the research is to design a tourism promotion plan that will strengthen the tourist services of hotels in the city of Babahoyo, through tools that will improve competitiveness in the tourist market of the Province of Los Ríos. The tourist promotion will start from the analysis made and registered through informative cards of the natural and cultural tourist attractions of the city, for its later diffusion in the information points that are located inside the hotels of Babahoyo, allowing the tourist to know and be encouraged to visit attractive places.

El turismo también posee varios aspectos de suma importancia para la localidad donde se desarrolle, entré los cuales destacan la inversión nacional y extranjera, empleos directos e indirectos para los residentes de la localidad, además de contribuir al crecimiento social, cultural y económico del país en vías de desarrollo, favoreciendo la afluencia de turistas mediante la realización de actividades que atiendan la demanda de los mismos como hospedaje, alimentación, transporte y diversión. El crecimiento cultural se da a través de actividades que destaquen las tradiciones, costumbres y atractivos de la cultura de la localidad, dando a conocer así la riqueza con la que se cuenta de manera natural. La infraestructura regional y nacional se ve mejorada con la inversión nacional y extranjera, la misma que impulsa al crecimiento en cuanto a vías de comunicación aérea, terrestre o marítima, resultando un ingreso de grandes cantidades de divisas para el país por esta actividad, generando con ello plazas de trabajo para los residentes de las diferentes localidad donde se desarrolla la actividad turística, ya que se deben implementar servicios adecuados que requieren el acompañamiento de personal especializado para la atención de turistas. El turismo se ha establecido como una nueva oferta turística para la sociedad actual, ya que la demanda global ha tenido un crecimiento significativo en los últimos años, el interés de las personas por realizar turismo se ve incentivada por una correcta promoción turística realizada con bases y fundamentos sólidos, quienes hacen atractivo los lugares que han sido estructurados para el confort de los turistas. Por lo cual se implementa un plan de promoción turística, con lo que se puede lograr la visita de destinos con monumentos, espectáculos, museos, obras de arte y tradiciones de comunidades locales, por lo que los servicios turísticos generan una gran cantidad de posibilidades económicas a la ciudad. El objetivo de la investigación es diseñar un plan de promoción turística que permita fortalecer los servicios turísticos de los hoteles en la ciudad de Babahoyo, a través de herramientas que permitirán mejorar la competitividad en el mercado turístico de la Provincia de Los Ríos.
