Materiales manipulativos y su contribución en el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes de la unidad educativa ¨Simón Bolívar¨, Parroquia Panocha, cantón Babahoyo, Provincia los Ríos

Manipulative materials are fundamental factors in the student's learning process. They are characterized by responding to educational needs such as: creativity, interaction between teacher and student, initiative and most importantly the construction of their own meaningful learning. In fact, the lack of motivating materials that help the growth of this learning will affect the pedagogical action of each student, a problem that today represents concern in teachers and in general in every educational institution, since they are responsible for ensuring the educational future of the students. So in the present work it was raised as an objective; To determine the manipulative materials and their contribution in the meaningful learning to students of the educational unit "Simon Bolivar", Pimocha parish, Babahoyo canton, Los Ríos province. It was tried to make the teachers aware of the importance of the use of these materials through the proposal that was elaborated for the same purpose. In conclusion, it was possible to say that the resources that the teacher uses in the daily activities of his academic work will be those that contribute to the students to obtain a significant learning and therefore improve the quality of their education.
