Incidencia de las redes sociales en la comunicación familiar con los adolescentes del sector San Martin del cantón Quevedo año 2021

The following research project seeks to analyze the current situation of adolescents, specifically in the San Martín Sector of the Quevedo canton, due to the use of social networks and these impair communication within the family. New technologies have brought many benefits to the human being, but with this it has also caused the lack of communication within the family due to the excessive use of social networks, causing them to dedicate more time to the different virtual platforms and not to the existence of communication within the family environment. This study confirms that many families face a communication crisis where the use of social networks through different mobile devices is one of the influencing factors. Through the surveys, it was found that both parents and adolescents make frequent use of the different digital platforms, which have generated an impact both positively and negatively; social networks and family communication form a very important bond in society.
