Summary:In the construction of housing in city Salcedo lot of solid waste is produced, that once an analysis and proper management of such waste is conducted to help improve the proper use of the waste and contribute to improving the quality of life of the population. It is for this reason that this work is of great importance and relevance to the academic, life social and legal approach. The method used was descriptive, waste problem described building materials in housing construction in the city of Salcedo, and the impact on workers and residents of that district. The results found in research highlights the processes of waste that exist in the construction sector on public streets or roads where construction companies point to 60.37% disposal, while in wastelands builders choose the other 34.90% of waste disposal, however, address this problem was disaggregated to the streets public and city dumps, resulting in a 93.75% of waste removed construction companies are framed in public dumps, and only 6.25% in the dumps, a serious problem that concerns the whole society. That is why they designed a flowchart solid waste management concatenated with the environmental plan and serve to preserve the solid waste in the construction live and reduce environmental damage, with instruments and objectives for assessing exposures to the needs of the population. It was concluded that solid waste produced an increase in the rate of diseases, poisoning the population, because the workers and residents are vulnerable and exposed to this risk. And finaly was created a plan of solid waste management.
