Estudio de metadatos y protocolos de interoperabilidad para la plataforma científica Ecuciencia de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi.

The present investigation was carried out at the Technical University of Cotopaxi in the city of Latacunga, whose objective was the documentary study of different metadata and interoperability protocols, determining the most optimal for Ecuciencia, the following methods were used, study techniques complemented with aspects corresponding to a logical bibliographical and historical investigation which allowed to define the metadata accompanied by the most optimal protocol being Dublin Core and OAI-PMH respectively, seeking a greater understanding was supported by aspects such as the interview, this helped to determine the needs of the same, observation was also used, which was applied hoping to know its operation; In order to make comparisons between the most important characteristics specified in aspects of the protocol as well as the selected metadata, a functional architecture of these components was determined, in order to verify its operation an archetype was developed using the following tools: PHP programming language , Laravel framework, bootstrap design templates, MySQL database and an adaptation of Scrum was used for this entire process, which allowed demonstrating the effectiveness of the metadata in conjunction with the selected protocol, evidencing the optimization in the search for some type of specific information. , therefore it is concluded that these aspects can be implemented in the future contributing to the development of the university, therefore benefiting teachers, students, researchers and the general public.
